I'm pretty sure this would have been my favorite movie if I was a kid in the late 30s. It reminded me of The Princess Bride. It's got something for everyone. 10 years 10 months ago -

Agree with Duke of Omnium. It's well acted, well written, well executed film. Nearly flawless. But most importantly it leaves you with a happy feeling for the rest of your day. I can't imagine anyone hating this movie. 12 years 9 months ago -

What's not to like? Great script, great (and plausible) stunts, great cast. Looks great in Technicolor (though a bit oversaturated, like all US Technicolor films). Nearly a perfect movie. 13 years 7 months ago
