I found the first hour really boring, which detracted a lot from the movie's general enjoyment. Also, Sam's only defining characteristic is his love for Jill, I felt he was annoying and shallow. However, I tough the last 30 min were really awesome, I only wish there was more DeNiro in it.

Incredible, hilarious, hopeful, and depressing Distopian film. It's been one of my favorites for years. The zany sense of humor is superb. Sadly, I think this film is even more apt now than it was in 1985. We haven't improved our society and culture at all. 11 years 9 months ago
