If everyone started combing through their own check histories and updating the films with missing runtimes, directors and AKA titles (assuming the info exists on IMDb), imagine how fast the quality of ICM's database would improve. I've done so much individual work (mostly unnoticed) on this issue that it's embarrassing to even give numbers, and I wish more people were contributing. I can tell you from experience that work on Indian and pre-1930 films is particularly needed. Not to mention porn...ha. And if you're in the beta version, there are roughly 78 gazillion TV episodes that are not properly tagged.
And if you really get bitten by the bug, you'll start submitting missing data to IMDb yourself....

@EbbyWebby I agree to @joachimt 's comment. I have indeed sometimes submitted data to imdb myself, but I prefer updating data on tmdb instead, it's just so much easier and straightforward. I am glad that the beta also directly links there and wonder if data could also be pulled from there (as letterboxd does).
