I don't know what's going on, but I submitted the raw list to the guys in spine order number (Grand Illusion first, Life During Wartime last). I assumed that would result in a list that was also in spine order number by default.
Apparently I was wrong. As it is now the "rank" listing is identical to the "title" listing. Is there any chance that we can have the default "rank" listing have the same order as the list I submitted?
I'm sorry to see the corrected Criterion "alphabetized" in the irritating manner of the IMDb, with a lot of titles unfortunately and incorrectly clumped in "THE" and "LE" and "IL" and so forth.
It also strikes me that updates would be easier to make (and correct, if necessary) if the list were in spine/release order.

one thing I noticed awhile ago is that 23rd Psalm Branch: Part 2 is not on the list. Its a Brakhage film on the 2nd collection.jef82

Exactly. It's a little more work to establish, but after it's done you just append new titles to the end of the list.

Thanks, Knaldskalle and tomsalad.But ... I thought Knalds was putting the Criterion list into release/spine number order -- which would be especially helpful for checking box set releases like Brakhage, Painlevé, Golden Age of TV, etc.
