Donate-a-thon

Like we mentioned a few days ago, we are in desperate need of a new server. The placement of ads seems to help a little, but not nearly enough to be able to upgrade soon. Plus, the ever growing amount of users (welcome!) makes the problem even more urgent.*

That's why we need your help.

We decided to organize a donate-a-thon to collect enough money to buy a super fast database server. But, since we're on the verge of introducing premium (paid) accounts, we don't feel it's fair to just ask you for money and do nothing in return. That's why we decided to give everyone that donates a certain amount free premium accounts:

• If you donate $10, you'll get a free Premium Basic account for a year.
• If you donate $25, you'll get a free Premium Pro account for a year.
• If you donate $50 or more, you'll get a free Premium Pro for two years, plus a custom made avatar made by our designer, Piet.

This way, you're not only helping us, you're also helping yourself. The actual premium accounts will cost a little more than $10 or $25 a year, so we're giving you a discount as well.

As soon as iCheckMovies 2.0 goes live (this summer), you'll be automatically upgraded to a premium account. If you already donated in the past, your account will (of course) be upgraded as well.
