Am I the only one that use recommended movies? I wish it could be more accurate maybe recognizing which director or writer I do care most and suggest new movies from them. Of course keeping the neighborhood thing. That's a lot of neighborhood algorithms you might apply on the website.
1. I use it to find new films and track my progress on different lists.
2. I would like to be able to view personal lists in the progress bar; it gets a bit messy keeping track in the fave/watchlist section. The activity feed could be a bit tidier (as well as more privacy options), but is ok for now. Also being able to see more relevant information when sorting lists (eg, when sorting by number of checks, being able to see the number of checks on the list page).
3. Like Nopros, I rarely look at the recommended movies and neighbours sections, but they don't bother me.
1. To find new films
2. Instead of custom lists I think you need to (if possible linking from IMDB) be able to click on a film, eg the Departed. And from that you can have lists for Scorsese's filmography, and all the main actors in it, without having to have users use their limited list creating abilities to do so.
3. In a way I don't care for you refusing to have adverts. It gets you more income and they don't bother me as long as they aren't popups.
@Llanirev You could answer question 3 on uservoice as well, but it's up to you. If people vote a lot on it, then we'll know it's a feature not many people use.
1.
I use the website to check movies, find new movies and working on lists. I also use the site to track what friends are watching and competing with them on lists
2.
Definitely the filter section.
3.
Recommended movies and neighbors are things I don't use. But it doesn't bother me that it is on the site.
So if you have a feature suggestion for the website, the best way to do this is to add it to our uservoice.com account
This answers what we should do with the answer to question# 2. Do you want our replies to questions 1 and 3 there as well? I don't know if it is possible, I don't know uservoice yet. If not, how would you like to receive our replies to those questions?

Looking forward to an iPhone app! I constantly find myself thinking I wish I could check movies from my phone.TheMajor
1.- To find new and good movies.
- To keep track of what I've seen within certain categories/lists. Imdb lacks features like that.

What Nopros said.As for how to improve the filters: The filters appear randomly selected at times and applying a filter is harder than it should have to be.
Oh and new lists are always welcome.
