1. Cinemaya's Greatest Asian Films's icon

    Cinemaya's Greatest Asian Films

Favs/dislikes: 28:0. In 1998, Cinemaya asked 34 critics (mostly Asian critics) to list their 10 favorite Asian films. Cinemaya published all of these lists in issue #41 of the magazine. #1 Tokyo Story appeared on 20 of the lists. This is a list of films that appeared on at least 2 lists. See this spreadsheet for vote counts. 6 of the critics listed "The Apu Trilogy" without specifying an individual film, so I counted each trilogy vote as a vote for all 3 films. You can see some of the top 10 lists in this Google book preview.

  5. Indonesian Movies (to watch)'s icon

    Indonesian Movies (to watch)

Favs/dislikes: 0:0. A list of Indonesian films that I recommend or have been recommended to me. Also uses Tabloid Bintang's 2010 ranking of the Top 25 Indonesian Movies for many older entries. This largely omits horror films due to my personal taste, so it does not attempt to be comprehensive. Missing: "(Cintaku di) Kampus Biru [My love on Blue Campus]" by Ami Prijono (1976). Can't find on imdb. https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cintaku_di_Kampus_Biru
