This is an all-inclusive list of the best noir films from the very beginning to present day, not just the quintessential black and white films from 1940-1964. This list is derived from the person who developed the 'They Shoot Pictures Don't They' top 1000 list. Right now, the list is a work in progress so I will add films as he adds films!! The first 100 films are quintessential film noir. **UPDATE** For those of you who have patiently waited thank you- I have access to the website and have updated the list...so we are up and running to a 1000!
