It's hard for me to really rag on this book, because it's the first film list I ever started pursuing, but the updates they do are frustrating and useless. To keep removing great older films, for popular, maybe okay, newer ones? It just doesn't make sense. These films haven't passed the test of time yet, so it makes no sense to put out a completely new edition each year. Plus, they're saying the films they just put in the year before are no longer must-sees because they usually remove those right away as well.
Don't worry everyone, I'm sure this will all be worked out well enough in due time.
right then... this is the last time i'll say this as i'm sure everyone is getting annoyed about how much I bang on about it, but I took a picture of my version of the book, and Fanny and Alexander is on the same page of the contents as An Education, which is only in the latest edition that's included here...
iCheckmovies have obviously not included it in the list for some unknown reason. It is 100% in the new edition. Check the picture for proof...

The best part of all this is that I haven't even seen the film yet... it best be good after all this!
This list is getting worse with every update. They get rid of some true classics and add movies that are kinda relevant right now but won't be remembered at all in like 5 years.

@viajemajadera: Your criticism of the list becomes more credible when you have 69 movies remaining, not 69 checks.wiliamjk
THE HANGOVER?Wise Jake
At least this isn't the sole/definitive film list (far from it!). So we can take this list, and others, with a grain of salt.Wise Jake

mattmansfieldok is correct. A look in the October 2010 Ed. (Avatar on cover) on Amazon.co.uk shows Fanny and Alexander is still in there. There's something wrong on this list. Sigh.

Some of these new additions are just awful. The Hangover and Paranormal Activity? Honestly?springsteen
