Drive-In Delirium

Favs/dislikes: 35:1. Created from the Drive-In Delirium series of film trailer DVD compilations released by Umbrella Entertainment in Australia. From the respectable to the reprehensible, this is the list with something for everyone: women in prison, the undead, blaxploitation, martial arts, nature run amok, stalk & slash, vigilante revenge, espionage, counterculture, giallo, Eurozombies, Eurowesterns, SF/fantasy, creature features, video nasties and just a hint of sex. An exploitation goldmine.

16. Something Weird Complete DVD Catalog's icon

Something Weird Complete DVD Catalog

Favs/dislikes: 11:0. Something Weird is a company specializing in the release of exploitation films of all varieties. This list will seek to list all the full-length films released on DVD by Something Weird. I will be excluding the extensive DVD-Rs, digital downloads, bonus shorts and Bucky Beaver stag loops, etc. For the bonus shorts and Bucky Beaver stuff, this is primarily due to most of them being unlisted on iCM. *Note: Not all titles were sourced from SomethingWeird.com due to the company's lack of a complete Catalog listing (They only list in print titles). Additional titles were sourced from Amazon and other online retailers. As a result, some titles may still be missing.
17. USA Up All Night's icon

USA Up All Night

Favs/dislikes: 13:0. USA Up All Night (also known as Up All Night and Up All Night with Rhonda Shear) is an American cable television series that aired weekly on Friday and Saturday nights on the USA Network. The show aired from 1989 to 1998. The program consisted of low-budget films, bookended by in-studio or on-location comedy skits featuring the show's hosts. In addition to skits, the hosts would also provide sardonic comments about the featured film(s), and observations on various Hollywood- and/or New York City-area clubs and attractions (when the series was shooting out of studio). Including commercials, the program typically ran from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. [wikipedia]
18. Metrograph A to Z's icon

Metrograph A to Z

Favs/dislikes: 4:0. A series of films screened at the Metrograph theater in New York. The films screened in alphabetical order, with the only restriction being that only one film (or sometimes, one program of shorts) was selected for any director. They only broke this rule for John Ford, who has multiple "S" movies on the list (http://metrograph.com/series/series/75/welcome-to-metrograph-john-ford-edition). Now expanded to include the films from the currently-ongoing A to Z Round 2 series. One film in the series isn't on IMDB: Tighten Your Belts, Bite the Bullet (1980, directed by Martin Lucas, James Gaffney, and Jonathan Miller)

20. The Ultimate Slasher List's icon

The Ultimate Slasher List

Favs/dislikes: 65:4. This is a massive list of slasher movies that I will keep updating. If you're not into slasher movies or don't know what it is, I recommend you to watch "Going to Pieces" it's a great documentary about the slasher genre. (Feel free to leave a comment if you find anything I've missed)
21. James A. FitzPatrick Traveltalks's icon

James A. FitzPatrick Traveltalks

Favs/dislikes: 4:0. James A. FitzPatrick's condescending journey around the world . Although quite hokey and often terribly racist ("Those natives have no understanding of a higher power," Australia is a "White Man's Paradise"), these shorts provide priceless glimpses of a world long past (especially his Pre-WWII films). It is amazing to see the rapid modernization that has taken place within such a short span of the 20th century. Although he constantly hammers in the superiority of the USA, FitzPatrick is always reluctant to leave his destination - and often it isn't hard to see why!
22. Classic American Serials's icon

Classic American Serials

Favs/dislikes: 4:0. A chronological listing of extant American serials made from the silent era through the 1950s. I am only including titles that exist complete, or for which there is enough material to provide at least the minimal "serial experience" , such as the first film listed, The Perils of Pauline which was originally 20 reels but is known to exist now only in a 9-reel reissue version. Some of these titles aren't commercially available at the moment however.

25. Moviedrome (BBC)'s icon

Moviedrome (BBC)

Favs/dislikes: 7:0. Moviedrome was a series of cult files shown by the BBC with a short introduction from Alex Cox (or Mark Cousins in later years) beforehand that explained why it was important or interesting. There's a list of all the films shown in Moviedrome here http://www.kurtodrome.net/moviedrome.htm and I thought it would be nice to have a version of that list here to keep track of how many I've ssen.
