100 Great Unofficial Checks
Favs/dislikes: 18:1. Films that I really like but are not (currently) found on any official ICM lists. NOTE: this list was made in 2012 and since then over half of the films have made it onto official lists. I've kept the list as it is, just to track if and when they all make it! -

Short films Watchlist
Favs/dislikes: 5:0. A personal list with relatively short films (under 80 minutes) on official lists, that seem to be available online and in many cases have YouTube links in the comments on ICM. For that purpose I made the list public and will try to add recent links to anything I come across for other users to enjoy. Keep in mind that this is no best of as I haven't even seen these films. Nor does it aim to be complete since for practical purposes I delete movies as soon as I've seen them. But feel free to check some short movies while they're here ;-) That means that in the end there will only be a handful of 80 minutes movies left. Not exactly shorts, I know. But then the list will have fulfilled it's purpose. Happy checking! Trippy Cinema
Favs/dislikes: 4:0. A personal list bunch of surreal, strange films that surprise, confuse, and entertain. Ordered semi-logically, not by rank. (In progress) -
Coming of Age
Favs/dislikes: 8:0. Stories about growing up. Bildungsroman. Some are simple and sweet, others stunted, delayed, or disturbing. Sex, drugs, rock'n'roll, sports, war, divorce, religion, depression, punk, drought, graduation, lazy summers, first loves, death, puberty, domineering parents - these are the hazards and catalysts of change. -

Blind Spots
Favs/dislikes: 0:0. In the wake of the Filmspotting podcast about blind spots in one's viewing history, here are mine. With blind spots I mean film titles you are ashamed to admit you still haven't seen yet. Titles that maybe sometimes come up in conversations around you, upon which you hope to not be asked about your opinion, because you still haven't watched it. Titles you always planned to see, but for some reason still haven't. What are your blind spots? -
Goomba Stomp's 150 Greatest Horror Films of the 20th Century (2016)
Favs/dislikes: 1:0. Ranked list, compiled by Ricky D Fernandes.
The history of horror is vast and perhaps a list of the 200 greatest horror films is a foolhardy thing to tackle. I’ve been watching horror movies since I was a very young kid and I think it is safe to say that I’ve watched more than the average person. Yet, as hard as I try, there are still many films that I still haven’t seen... It is impossible to make a definitive list of the best horror films but what follows is a list of my personal 150 favorite horror films of the 20th century accompanied by a few special mentions, mostly documentaries, short films and a few features that some people would qualify as horror, but really aren’t.
-
