Yugoslav Film Archive's 100 Serbian Films of Cultural Heritage
Favs/dislikes: 15:0. In 2016, the Yugoslav Film Archive declared 100 Serbian films, made between 1911 and 1999, to be cultural heritage of great importance. The list was voted by academics, professors, and critics. -
XRCO Hall of Fame
Favs/dislikes: 15:0. The XRCO Hall of Fame is a list of the best adult films, performers, and directors. Films are inducted at the XRCO's annual awards ceremony, starting in 1985. The films are listed in order of induction. The number of inductees changes from year to year (and sometimes no films are inducted). All of the films were at least 9 years old at the time of induction. The XRCO (X-Rated Critics Organization) is a group of ~50 currently working critics who publish reviews on a regular basis. Members are required to have a wide knowledge of the business, and must watch a sufficient number of titles to be allowed to vote in most of the categories. -

Top 250 Most-Acclaimed Short Films of All Time
Favs/dislikes: 106:1. I compiled this list from many different polls, lists, and awards, using a weighted point system to rank the shorts. I'm defining short as any film with a runtime of 45 minutes or less. This list focuses more on animation than the [url=http://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/brief+encounters/]Brief Encounters[/url] list. It includes many acclaimed animated shorts which are missing from Brief Encounters, most notably The Man Who Planted Trees and Ruka. Top 1000 Most Acclaimed Films
Favs/dislikes: 28:0. This is my own compilation of the most acclaimed films of all time. My methodology is a bit different from TSPDT's. The main difference is that I'm giving a lot more weight to country and continent lists. I'm also using a much smaller number of lists because I'm only using lists that I like. This compilation is currently based on 71 lists. -

This is the 2020 version of the list. They added some new films to the list, so it is not strictly based on the poll. -

TIFF's The Essential 100: Expert Panel

TIFF's [url=http://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/toronto+international+film+festival+-+the+essential+100/rtrench/]Essential 100[/url] "represents the merging of one 100 film list as determined by an expert panel of TIFF curators with one 100 film list as determined by TIFF stakeholders." This is the expert panel's list, compiled by five TIFF curators in 2009. Their goal was to create a list of "essential cinema" that balanced "best" and "most influential," with a limit of one film per director. -
TIFF's Best of the Decade: An Alternative View (2000s)
