Three of the entries are serials: "The Hurricane Express", "The Shadow of the Eagle" and "The Three Musketeers". Some of the films ranked are lost (such as "The Oregon Trail"). "Seeing Stars" is a short film. Only incomplete prints (about 30 minutes of footage) from "Mother Machree" exist today. "Arizona" (1931) is somehow omitted from the book.
