Sight and Sound Annual Best of the Year Polls
Favs/dislikes: 36:0. Sight & Sound publish a yearly top 10-20 compiled from assorted critics' lists. This list currently includes polls from every year since 2001 with exception of 2002 and 2004 (please send me a message if you have their lists from any other years). Sometimes the films don't match the IMDB years due to different release dates in UK, also the odd film repeats in subsequent years (I've only included the first instance). In case you're wondering, Apocalypse Now appeared in the 2001 list due to the Redux version being released that year. -

Markopoulos, 1990, USA, Col) and MY HAND OUTSTRETCHED TO THE WINGED DISTANCE AND SIGHTLESS MEASURE (18 FILM CYCLE) (Robert Beavers, 1967-2002, USA). -
Arrow Video Releases (UK)
Favs/dislikes: 26:0. Initially sourced from an IMDB list but continued to be updated by me. Arrow Academy Releases (UK)
Favs/dislikes: 15:1. All the films released on the Arrow Academy label in UK. Let me know if you spot any errors. Included the shorts from the Borowczyk collection as it was an individual release. Also included Il Tetto, which was a bonus feature on Miracle in Milan. Antti Alanen's 1,100 Greatest Films

IndieWire 2020 Year End Critics Poll - Top 50
Favs/dislikes: 9:0. The 2020 IndieWire Critics Poll included input from over 230 film reviewers from around the world. Critics from IndieWire, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and other major outlets voted for the year’s top films and performances alongside critics from local newspapers and websites, freelancers, and contributors on film from across Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The end results were published earlier this month, with “Nomadland” claiming best film and Riz Ahmed in “Sound of Metal” taking the title for best performer of the year. Participants in the 2020 critics poll were only allowed to vote for films and performances in films that received theatrical or VOD releases in North America over the past calendar year. -
