There has to be an almost sickening sentimental factor on this list. Great films though there may be here - have a marathon of these and your brain will be numb for weeks. Thank you, AFI!
The list was released June 14, 2006, over 4 years ago and they haven't produced an updated list.
Maybe dig a little deeper next time before you discredit a list.
Through the collective judgment of 1,500 leaders from across the American film community - screenwriters, directors, actors, producers, cinematographers, editors, executives, film historians and critics - there was not a single good movie in the last six years.
