I don't understand Empire's tastes. It's like it is run by teenage boys. 300, Transformers, Man of Steel - Greatest movies of all time? Are you crazy? It's like if it came out within the last 10 years and had a big enough budget, they vote for it. There is also a ton of stuff on here I actually like but shouldn't belong on a list like this. This is probably the most shallow and lazy greatest film list I have ever seen.
Like it says in the description, it's actually just a readers poll. No professional opinions here or anything resembling that. From what I've seen of the Empire magazine, it's not really directed at the intellectual film enthusiast, but more at, like you said, teenage boys.
