@cobac @BaalMan which (non-European) directors would you suggest? I miss Ildiko Enyedi and Samira Makhmalbaf, Claudia Llosa, Jiayin Liu, Ida Lupino, Larisa Shapitko. Have you noticed they left out Leni Riefenstahl? It's a bit a predictable list, but I've seen more Euro- or occidental-centered ones, to be honest. Not bad.

@Gilles Debil, i have no problem about been eurocentric, since most of the lists are american-centric.
You already named many directors who are in my mind. I'd add Kira Muratova, Naomi Kawase, Byambasuren Davaa, Suzana Amaral, Nadine Labaki, Paz Encina, MarĂ­a Victoria Menis and the europeans Margarethe von Trotta and Jasmila Zbanic

They are out while the list has "A League of Their Own' (#4 really?), Bend It Like Beckham and Frozen.
