Sight & Sound publish a yearly top 10-20 compiled from assorted critics' lists. This list currently includes polls from every year since 2001 with exception of 2002 and 2004 (please send me a message if you have their lists from any other years).

Sometimes the films don't match the IMDB years due to different release dates in UK, also the odd film repeats in subsequent years (I've only included the first instance). In case you're wondering, Apocalypse Now appeared in the 2001 list due to the Redux version being released that year.
