Agreed with Local Hero. If we can have 500 horror movies, 250 noirs, 454 movies that have grosses over $200 million and 252 films from the 21st century, this list needs to be expanded to better represent the first thirtysomething years of cinema.
@dAJaro - Silent cinema, and classic cinema in general is hardly represented on this site at all. Yes, the same goes for ducumentaries, even more so in fact, but that still doesn't remove the need for these films.
The Phantom Carriage really is much better than many of the films in the top 100. I love this list, but the ordering of the full 300 baffles me in the case of many films.

great argument...Maybe we should also shorten the TSPDT? and the 1001MYMSBYD lists then?
Maybe remove some other lists we don't care fore?
