This is the first time I have ever been able to see everything released by a major director. I have tried this before (Hitchcock and Welles) and was always at least a few short because of unavailability problems. I was able to see everything (including his shorts) in chronological order as well. I had great fun doing this and I enjoyed filling in the blanks in his filmography that I had never gotten around to in the past. To me, his masterpieces are (in order):
2001: A Space Odyssey
Dr. Strangelove
Barry Lyndon
A Clockwork Orange
The Shining
Paths of Glory
Eyes Wide Shut
The Killing
Also, I prefer the American cut of The Shining as opposed to the International Cut. I was able to watch both and I felt the longer one just felt a little more substantial, even if it was slower in pace and had the silly skeletons in the ballroom shot. Kubrick will always be one of my favorite filmmakers.
If I change the name back, would it help with the problems you guys are having?
It's not really that big of a deal. I just thought you deleted the list for a moment, as I followed the link from the unofficial iCM forum to it and got a 404 page.
I personally would prefer it to be in line with the other lists, but that's just my opinion which is probably worth as much as Nuked's. Basically, I think you should name it however you prefer and not let anyone bully you into changing it.
All I'm saying is that there are tons of filmography lists on here that omit shorts, TV movies, lost films, etc. and that the name change was completely unnecessary.
I agree with Jonfje's choice to omit the shorts and documentaries. Would have done the same (and actually did in the director filmography lists I created).
A lot of people don't understand Stanley Kubrick as a Director, but I have found after reading about his and what he likes and dislikes, I became a lot closer to what I liked about his movies. I can't put into words what it is, but if he name is associated with it, I have seen it, and/or own it.

He did. Day of the Fight (1951) and Flying Padre (1951) are definitively documentaries. The Seafarers (1953) could be called a documentary too.

You are partly to blame. You invoked the change, and are being an unnecessarily humungous dick about it.Fritz

You asked for the list's name to be changed. Changing a list's name changes its URL.Fritz
And now everybody's bookmarks of this list are broken. Well done, Nuked.kbmichaluk
Wow, Nuked, you are quite the asshole.Jonfje
Happy? I see you have a premium user, why not just make your own list, for the rest of "you" smart people? :)Fritz

Take it easy, I just tought I would make a list of his MOVIES, and not shorts and documentaries ;)Jonfje
Fear and Desire added ;)caiman
What about Fear and Desire? He also made some short documentaries.dvdjunkie
