Strong cast and solid performances all round. The 1997 version is still a good movie but it is completely blown to bits by the original 1957 version.
Was disappointed to see my favourite scene ruined in this version.
1957: when juror #10 goes off on his hateful bigotry rant, everyone dismisses his bullshit by leaving the table, one by one. 1997: the rant is now insanely racist and insufferable, but the reaction is almost non existent.
Recommended, but really do yourself a favor and watch the original instead.

You can't beat the original, but still worth watching for Jack Lemmon and George C Scott towards the end of their careers...and lives.andreasbrekken
