   Great film. Well paced, wonderful special effects, very well constructed set pieces and manages to tell a grand story without being convoluted. Only major flaw was some characters didn't get the screentime or character development they deserved, such as Quicksilver and Storm. 10 years 8 months ago

   A very respectable entry in the series, remarkable for the number of high-caliber and Oscar-winning actors on screen. Touted as a cross-over between old and new, the plot mostly features Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) spending time with the younger counterparts of the X-men. For example, while Oscar-winner Halle Berry is in the movie, she might have one or two lines tops.
   
   Excellent sound-design, a (mostly) solid script, clever editing, fun effects, the film is a comic-book movie through and through that far outdoes the ridiculousness of The Avengers.
