You can safely skip 28 Weeks Later though.

They aren't zombies though. They're still living with an infection and towards the end of the movie is when they start starving off.

I think this may be the best zombie movie ever made. Gritty and dark and suspenseful. If you like zombie movies, you'll probably watch it again and again.
