One of the few movies I truly dislike. In my ranking list would be right under 'Birth' starring Nicole Kidman, another terrible film.

Truly disappointed. Some scenes seemed needlessly stretched and there were no remarkable/interesting plot developments to be found. Althought the realistic filmmaking may suit the heavy subject of the story, it also entailed that at no point in this movie I cared for the two protagonists (I mean, the soundtrack was John Cage's 4'33", right?).

Although the movies aren't totally comparable subject-wise, I agree with TheMajor that Lilja 4-ever had a much greater impact on me.

Good film, but all the praise seems excessive. It's not very thought provoking, does not really challenge the actors' acting abilities, some scenes like the one when they first discuss the procedure with the guy in the hotel room, seem forced or unnatural. It does not make me feel sympathetic towards any of the characters. It's only the subject matter itself which makes for an interesting film, but to call it a masterpiece? I would recommend Lilja 4-ever (2002) instead.

All I could think of during the movie is how annoying Gabita is. The movie itself is immersive, but there are way better movies of the sort, like "Everybody Dies But Me" and the aforementioned "Lilja 4-ever".

Incredibly powerful film reminding me strongly of the best Ingmar Bergman films. Watch this

Great film. As for Bergman it particulary reminded me of Port of Call, which is possible an even bigger abortion nightmare. Bergman sure loved aborions. Bring of Life is another example. Was there an abortion in Prison as well?

Anyways, I'm getting a bit off topic I see. So to conclude this I will say that 432 is a superb film that should be seen. "Enjoy" : )

i wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, but it does have the right impact and is probably better understood by those who had faced a communist regime.
