The story is good and despite being a little sad it is still good story. The actors were good both Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. Seth Rogen despite the drama continues to be comical and funny in his role

I love how natural this movie feels. It's such an... easy (for lack of a better word) take on such a serious theme, which makes it so great. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is monumental!

Wonderfully refreshing and the best part is that it is not at all imposing like other films in this genre tend to be.
Great performances and a a lovely watch...

Worth the watch, but a little too short and predictable. Rogen's portrayal as Levitt's best friend is so perfect that his performance is more than worth the price of admission.

As many others have said the balance between pathos and comedy is struck just right and I agree spoiler

. Watching this as a person whose dad is slowly dying due to terminal cancer it's difficult for me to be objective about this but despite it's flaws (which can be overlooked) I found this incredibly powerful. One of the hardest things throughout this experience for me is getting in touch with those emotions, but this film enabled me to do this. I sobbed in a way I haven't in a long time, but in a way that I absolutely needed to and this film is to be commended for giving people this opportunity. Hollywood needs to make films this brave more often.

amazing movie - funny, heartfelt, made me almost cry a bit (I was fighting hard not to due to the puffy eyes and runny nose afterwards).
the cast is great and the characters are well developed. no over-dramatic action which makes it nicely refreshing.
re-watch value = sky high

Absolutely a top-notch movie. Triggered so much emotions, especially the last third, as someone else said here. I struggled to not cry. I got to say I loved it! guess it is a bit cheesy, but this one conducted it nicely.
