Agreed with Zeltaebar, only...it's James Keach who plays Jesse James. Stacy Keach has the role of his brother Frank. 9 years 6 months ago -

This ensemble piece from the year the western died (mostly due to the flop of Heaven's Gate), does hardly bother with its subject matter. There is no psychological or dramatical approach here. Just a string of genre offerings done much better elsewhere. From many weak points, I'd first choose to emphasize the dead performance from Stacy Keach in the very important role of Jesse James. A role that needed someone with far more charisma and authority. Then I would mention the chaotic, illogical mess of a shoot out that is supposed to be the highlight of the movie. Finally, they should have chopped away some minor characters and tedious dance routines. There is too much scope and too little focus here. 11 years 5 months ago -
