   Anybody who doesn't watch the original ending immediately after watching the full movie is doing themselves a huge disservice. That original ending may be one of the most spectacular deleted scenes in the history of Hollywood. 8 years 6 months ago

   The screenplay and performances aren't particularly noteworthy, but Saul Bass is a talented director.
   
   NB: The DVD I watched (which fit the IMDb running time) did not include the spectacular ending sequence.
