This movie should technically be called Christmas Eve Horror Stories as it follows three different story lines that happen on Christmas Eve. One is about a group of teens that are down in their school's basement investigating a murder that happened the year before, another is a family trying to reconnect with their estranged aunt and themselves, and the third is about Santa and his elves in the toyshop. I found the movie to follow these stories pretty well and over all it was quite interesting, although in my opinion it does leave a few stories open and only truly ends the Santa Claus story line. I would have liked to know how the others ended. Like, did the one girl get arrested as a prime suspect or even get out of the basement? Did the other girl continue as a devil or did she just happily live in her aunt's home? These are questions that I feel should have been answered in order for the movie to truly wrap up all of it's storylines. 6 years 4 months ago
