A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding (2018)

Netflix, you did it again.

As a warning, you should not go near this movie unless you enjoy watching things that are made with the intent of being subpar. Netflix knows its audience. They know how much we all loved to hate on A Christmas Prince (see my review for background on that) and hunkered down to give us more of the same. A paper-thin, formulaic main plot, a starts-nowhere-and-goes-nowhere side plot, two-dimensional friends-of-the-leading-lady (who, but for a rewind, I was pretty sure were never actually given names), ridiculous close-ups, dramatic entrance music, hilariously slapdash set pieces (specifically the signs carried by protesters towards the beginning), and all-around flat acting make for the perfect sequel to A Christmas Prince.
