A completely original film. The only other films it even remotely resembles are some of Kubrick’s own. Although some elements of the cinematography and design can feel slightly clumsy and dated, they are still used to great effect and work with the overall tone. Malcolm McDowell is perfect and is above all else what makes this a great film, shaped by Kubrick’s audacity in pushing away from realistic performances into something far more interesting, he sears images into your eyeballs. As a result, almost every scene is memorable to the point of becoming iconic.uhokaythen
While hauntingly graphic, the script is a poetic masterpiece, and the cinematography is simply astonishing.mlea42
One of the very few where the film is better than the book, and the book is pretty great imo.maruf_ur

Like other Kubrick movies, it's cold and intellectual and fails to grab me emotionally, in large part because of the English used, even though it is from the novel.BrunoDiasFerreira
It´s incredible how this movie makes you root for the murderer and rapist Alex DeLarge! Simply astonishing!fonz
If you ever dress up for Halloween using one of the costumes from this film, you have my respect.Cadeicus

I don't know if I should feel sorry for Alex or not. But I should say it is a great film with a huge message.danisanna

Stanley Kubrick shows again his great sense of vision and life.Of course, there were too much messages I would miss but yet quiet legend and wonderful film with Malcolm McDowell's great performance.Agrimorfee
Not a pleasant film (not one I want to invest time in re-viewing, unlike any of Kubrick's others), but still great in its audaciousness.jarudet
