Arrabal mixes pieces of his other films w/ distorted, psychedelic editing in addition to home movie like shots for what were contemporary scenes. Locals speak to the camera- many of them are narrated over unfaithfully, keeping with the poetic voice including lines of Rimbaud scattered throughout the narration. Brilliant. 5 years 8 months ago
