Against the Dark (2009)

This was better than I was expecting, and a bit fun. Mostly fun in the so-bad-it's-good sense though. Steven Seagal is flippin ridiculous and has such a goofy, commanding presence that I'm in awe every minute he is on screen. There is probably less than 10 minutes of cumulative Seagal screen time however. Most of the decent action is performed by Tanoai Reed, now a stuntman for The Rock, and he honestly kills it.

Nevertheless, the writing is piss poor. The dialog and story building don't make a lick of sense. The elevator scene especially had me scratching my head about the story logic. It all felt a lot like a video game adaptation, but they couldn't get the rights to Resident Evil. 3/10 1 year 2 months ago

Barely even a Seagal movie this as most of his appearances are brief and are of him simply walking. But yet it had a certain appeal. All being set in one building helped. Probably.
