   Visually interesting but rather dumb. The film struggles at almost every step to find ways to keep the plot going. The character's motivations are shaky and best, and the cause of conflicts between them are shockingly petty. The performances are hammy but entertaining, with the exception of Anne Hathaway, who looks like she really, really doesn't want to be there. In general, there isn't much to it once you strip away the visuals. They are nice visuals though, especially in the finale. 7 years 10 months ago
