Pretty impressed with this one. The movie is presented as if it's a real tape that was found of an actual abduction with interviews thrown in every once in a while to keep things immersive.
It came out before The Blair Witch Project popularized the found footage genre and you'd actually think that Alien Abduction inspired it, especially with one scene in particular.
My advice, go into it with an open mind. Turn off all the lights in the house, close the blinds/curtains and just watch. There's a good amount of suspense and there's not a single jump scare to be found either. 8 years 6 months ago
