Thought Andre Benjamin did a great job as 'the man' himself, can't think of anyone who could've done better. Had some of the mannerism's down pat . As for the film, well , for starters what kind of a title is that ? I won't go any further than that cos well who cares anyway . We all know how great Jimi was , so all i really wanted to say was Andre aint half bad also. 7 years 5 months ago
Supposeably
Was hooked after accidently tuning in after 5 minutes. Even overlooked the terrible (but real) British accents. However, it didn't seem to have any direction after the halfway point, and the ending was a bit of a surprise (ie. it literally just ended...). Nice performance from Andre though. 6/10. 7 years 6 months ago

Andre 3000 straightup becomes Jimi in this movie. It is great to watch. I can't speak on the accuracy of the details as this era was before my time, but the story was captivating, and only focuses on a short period of Jimi's early career (specifically when he went to London and performed in front of the Beatles).
