   One of the weirdest movies ever made impresses with its unique visual and sound effects, its ideas and scientific mumbo-jumbo. William Hurt is a revelation in the main role as the obsessed scientist and his descent into the primordial consciousness stays highly interesting despite the ridiculous developments. 11 years 1 month ago

   Nice piece of cinematography.
