Such a well-crafted show, it's almost a shame to say anything negative. There's is however one thing I'll note as a possible downside. Note: this comment was written after watching the first season.
The plot is obfuscated by the unspoken reality within the story that most characters are native to. The larger picture is long withheld from the viewer as we share the journey of the main lead, Shadow Moon (now that's a great name!). This can get rather frustrating.
It doesn't help that it's a meandering tale, broken up with side stories of various Gods and their peoples. This sometime takes up an entire episode, leaving you a bit baffled and wondering how this relates to the main story.
I say, stick with it and things will clear up along the way. Enjoy the excellent quality and let the experience flow through you. Probably best to watch it all in a short period of time, or even binge.
Recommended, with caution to those easily confused by the quirky storytelling described above.
