All of these Painleve nature documentaries are outstanding. They are still unsurpassed by anything being done today.Local Hero -- aka MestnyiGeroi
Best film for children? I'd say no. This one emphasizes vicious competition in a world where things are constantly being eaten alive, all while the film's soundtrack plays jolly jazz. It's a remarkable film, but a tad depressing.
