A really good movie, though I think it's only weakness is probably the very ending. Other than that, it's worth checking out.

I've never found Woody Allen funny and this movie was no exception. I didn't even chuckle. He just annoys me.

Although the film gradually runs out of steam, there's no denying the brilliance of the opening sketch.

Really liked the opening and closing scenes. The humour has dated well and as usual tons of brilliant lines. For me at times there was a bit too much slapstick (Woody's opening scene on an exercise bike bares resemblance to Chaplin's Modern Times), but the overall charm of the movie more than compensates.

There's a few bits that are very Tati-like and a few that a very Chapin-like, and then some which is inimitably Woodyish. Enjoyed it plenty. I think it would've dated a bit better if it didn't use so much music which has the 'wacky 60s comedy' sound.
