   First off, of all music videos WHY would you call out this one????? It was directed by Spike Jonze and it is a SHORT story, has character arches, and a plot. Theres not even a shot of the band playing, or a close up shots on the lead singer lip synching..... It even has above-the-line credits!
   
   This film might not be the best short film (which I agree), but seriously... just because it has music behind it doesn't mean it is not a short film. Look at Micheal Jackson's music videos... Would not consider Thriller or Smoth Criminal a short film???
   
   It's silly for anyone to say that music videos are not a short films in themselves. Most might confine themselves to a stereotypical music video structure, but they still are considered short films.
