   It hit on all the disaster movie tropes that you have come to expect: departing expert struggles to leave because no one will believe his warnings that trouble is imminent, a little girl, a love interest, a ticking clock, a skateboarding teenager that has a crush on his mom's co-worker and disappears at an inconvenient time yet whose selfish actions end up saving at least one person, a woman dies, her husband grieves and then panics, self-defense that is really homicide but will declared a casualty of the disaster, screaming, etc.
   
   In all, it plays like a Norwegian Dante's Peak staring Daryl Dixon and Marita Covarrubias which isn't a bad thing, but satisfying enough to wash out the bad taste left in my mouth from complete and utter shitte. 8 years 1 month ago

   Good movie, exciting all the time, fun with a Nordic disaster film, this Norwegian is better than Swedish "Den blomstertid nu kommer" that came 2018. Very good CGI, but there could have been more such scenes - one gets to see the power of the wave against the village a scene, then darkness and fog, then day and then the water is totally calm again - I understand that it may be a money issue, but it is a shame that have to destroy. Good acting overall actually. The Danish couple had to play the most panic-beaten, exaggerated, some may say, but in a similar situation, several more would react the same way.
