I'm neither a fan or know a lot about Bowie, but this documentary gave me nothing. He's a myth, but this is very thin and gave me no insight into his meaning for pop culture.viccc
Terrible documentary. Lots of "talking heads," a bit of British tabloid scandal-mongering--the whole thing felt salacious and gossipy with little to no coherently substantive insights into Bowie's art. The one to watch is The Last Five Years, which ironically does a better job of making sense of Bowie's entire artistic trajectory than this one.simo285k
Very confusing, unfocused and badly paced doc. Thankfully I knew a lot about Bowie going in. The others I watched it with got none the wiser.
