So boring. But yet, more interesting than Brakhage. Therefore 2 not 1/10.

An extremely inzooming at a breakfast table without people around it. Every now and then, very seldom, a thing falls off the table. In the bg we constantly here a talk from some people that might do the dishes, we don't know. The talk makes me sleepy, it's quite monotunous.

Aw damnit, I wrote this big piece about how the film was unremarkable until its neat ending, and now I'm discovering the only things I liked about the film is from a completely different movie. *Sigh* Damnit, Michael.

I love Ubu. The description there reads: "The final film Breakfast (Table Top Dolly) (1972-6, 17 mins) responds to Wavelength - as the forward motion of the camera destroys a crammed breakfast table." That makes me wonder if this isn't a subtly clever parody... albeit an extremely boring one. Also, it's strange that IMDb lists this as being 15 mins, the Ubu description lists the time as 17 minutes, and the actual Ubu running time is 19 minutes.
