Maybe it doesn't change the game like the original did but Tarantino is right. This movie is so cool and a lot of fun. Maybe a good point of comparison would be a lighter version of True Romance (I was also kind of feeling a Legend of Billie Jean vibe at times as well.)
Surprisingly good and a nice take on the original. It's only real problem is that it's a remake of a film noted almost entirely for how it helped change cinema. This film simply isn't going to do that, and instead has to rely on two very enjoyable actors and a director with a great deal of flare.
