   Jeffrey Combs has a real knack for playing the mad scientist and the scenes with his character are usually quite entertainingm but the movie delivers too little quality on everything else. The movie leans heavily on the macabre of body horror for its shock effects, which I found rather dull quite fast and despite a handful of good laughs along the way, it doesn't really compensate for its lack of scares or tension with comedy. Some visual effects look cool, but the filming and editing itself has an amateurish and cheap feel to it. Despite being faithful in tone to its predeccesor, it's not anywhere near that level of quality. 9 years 3 months ago
