After seven years, Disney had enough resources to make one of their Triple AAA efforts. There were many nice parts including the sequence with the fairy godmother and going to the ball. The stepmother and Lucifer the cat were perfectly evil. I didn’t enjoy the little talking mice as much as I did when I was young, but that part wasn’t for me. It was designed specifically for children which are the target audience of the film. So it isnt quite up to the heights of the early masterpieces that were the studio’s first five animated films. Where those were all perfect tens, this one is probably an 8.
