   I kind of enjoy the fact that it's like one of those major monster pics but brought down to the street level with a bunch of ordinary people. Godzilla movies have had the same kind of formula but never with a normal "that could be you and me" kind of cast. I think it also works well that we don't really know what is going on but can guess if we've seen other monster movies. Where did it come from? Will the military be able to stop it? How do we escape New York? Just like the characters we are left with the exact same questions which puts us in their shoes. This is probably my favorite found footage film. 7 years 7 months ago
