   Broadly reminiscent of Coen Brothers in Blood Simple/Fargo/No Country mode, but without their abilities to craft a script or their knack at finding the right balance between thriller and dark comedy. Still, Sam Shepard is good and it's entertaining enough if you're willing to ignore some pretty ridiculous bits of plotting. 10 years ago
