This is really great, not a good film, but so many technically better movies are so boring and forgettable, this one isn't.

I prefer practical effects in movies, and even though this one is mostly CGI (which looks pretty good), the practical effects are well used.

Yes, it is trash, but it is WAY more enjoyable than most recent (2000's to now) hollywood movies I've watched. I enjoyed it 12 years ago, and I still enjoy it now. 1 year 3 months ago

I absolutely loved the Celestial Dragon! (can't remember what it's actually called: if they told us, the prior 80 minutes numbed my mind enough that I forgot) Of course we only see the actual dragon on the screen for a minute or two.

Don't really think it's as bad as people make out. Yes, it's worse than San Andres, but not by much. CG drives everything even if they want to convince us it's about the story, it isn't. This is all about the FX. Sometimes they work well, sometimes they suck. Same goes for the acting. Sometimes it works, sometimes it sucks.

Not recommended by any stretch, but if you're told you will have to watch for some unbeknownst reason, it would be better to watch than say, saw off your foot with a chain saw.

People who say "worst movie ever" just haven't watched enough films and who knows, some 10 year old boys probably think it's kinda cool. 3 years 8 months ago
