At first I was deeply annoyed by the boy, but then as the film unfolded, I was very moved by the sequences. The film made me think a lot and touched me in a very deep level in which I can't really describe. Might be a bit slow, and it took me a bit more than its runtime to watch it, but I really loved it. 9/10
A rather successful high-concept experiment in filmmaking, thanks to its actors and engaging enough dialogue. Plus the driver is a true beauty, which doesn't hurt when she has about 2/3 of the screentime.
Interesting trivia: "the boy", as we call him, 2 decades later doesn't identify as a boy anymore and in fact became a queer LGTBQ activist: Wikipedia on Amin(a) Maher. So things became even more progressive than parts of Ten's conversation ..

I wish they spent more time inside the car. It's where the best moments of the film occur.Public Enemy
From the director that's too scared of girls to ever date them comes, "Riding In A Car With A Girl".EXPERIENCE the thrill of being a fly on the dashboard of a car for 90 minutes while women drive around and talk to each other about nothing.
SEE a small boy ride in a car.
SEE a small boy get out of a car.
THRILLS as two women ride around town in a car, occasionally stopping at stop signs. Who knows what will happen!!!
THE HORROR as the driver gets out! Will she ever get back in???

Whilst not a great film, I have to say it has some of the best acting from a child actor I've seen.Torgo
